Glitz 20Mg Tablet is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to a group of medicines called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, which helps lower the blood glucose levels in the body.
Common side effects of Glitz 20Mg Tablet includes headache, hypoglycaemia in combination with insulin sulphonylurea, nausea, vomiting, nasopharyngitis, stomach pain and upper respiratory tract infections. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. If you experience severe joint pain or allergic reactions, stop taking the medicine and inform your doctor. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
Glitz 20Mg Tablet is a well tolerated and safe anti-diabetic drug and does not cause very low blood sugar levels and weight gain. You may need a dose adjustment based on how you respond to treatment but do not change the dose without consulting your doctor first.
