Happi D Capsules fall under the category of dopamine antagonists and are essentially used to prevent vomiting and nausea in people. It is mainly given to people who suffer from gastrointestinal issues, and is also prescribed to people who have Parkinson’s disease. The reason why it is so effective when it comes to preventing nausea and vomiting is because it functions by tightening the muscles present at the beginning of the GI tract, and loosening the ones at the end. As a result, the process of passing food along the digestive system becomes significantly faster. Furthermore, this medicine also inhibits the vomiting centre of the brain, due to which the feeling of nausea also passes.
Happi D Capsules are available in the form of tablets and must only be taken orally. In general, the medication should be taken at least 15-30 minutes before eating your meal and this is because it has to help the food get digested faster. You should ensure that you only take the correct dose, as prescribed by your doctor, as an overdose can lead to dizziness, weakness, and losing control or balance. If you feel this medication does not help you, do not increase the dose on your own. Speak to your doctor about it instead.
