Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It reduces the level of low density lipoprotein or “bad cholesterol” in the body. It also helps in curing various conditions like narrowing of arteries that arises due to high cholesterol levels in the body. It can also reduce the amount of liver fat in the body. This drug is also used to lower the risk of stroke, heart attackor coronary heart diseases.

Use of Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule must be as per directed by the doctor. It is available in tablet form. It is also important to take regular dose of Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule for best results. However if you have missed a dose, don’t try to compensate it by taking an extra dose with the next one. That is extremely harmful to the body. It is harmful to use Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule if you are suffering from any liver diseases. Also, this drug is not permitted to be used by anyone below the age of 10 years. A pregnant woman or someone planning to get pregnant should not take this drug. You should also consult with your doctor regarding the intake of this drug in case you are suffering from kidney disease or undergoing dialysis. Some other conditions that require the doctor’s clearance are: if you are taking any prescribed medicine or dietsupplements, if you have any food or medicine allergies, if you consume alcohol regularly, if you are suffering from any kind of muscle problems, if you have low blood pressure, if you have diabetes etc.
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule might also cause certain side effects. The common ones amongst them are constipation, headache, stomach pain, weakness etc. However sometimes it might also cause some severe side effects like allergic reactions, blood in urine, chest pain, severe back pain, symptoms of liver problems like yellowing of skin or eyes etc. If these severe side effects appear, it is necessary to seek medical help right away.
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule should be stored at a temperature between 20 to 25 degree celcius. It should be kept away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the drug away from the reach of the children and pets.

Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used to treat Hyperlipidemia, which is a condition characterized by high levels of lipids in the blood.
- Type III Hyperlipoproteinemia
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used in the treatment of Type III Hyperlipoproteinemia which is a genetic disorder characterized by the improper breakdown of lipids, causing accumulation of lipids in the body.
- Hypertriglyceridemia
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used in the treatment of Hypertriglyceridemia which is a type of fat found in the blood which increases the risk of heart diseases.
- Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used in the treatment of Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia which is a genetic disorder characterized by high cholesterol levels.
- Prevention of cardiovascular diseases
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used to reduce the incidence of heart attacks by reducing the levels of bad cholesterol in the body.
- Prevention of Stroke
Ecosprin AV 75/20 Capsule is used to reduce the incidence of stroke by reducing the levels of bad cholesterol in the body.
