Minipress XL 2.5 mg Tablet XL is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement). This medicine should be used with caution since it may cause temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressure (syncope). It is not recommended for use in patients under 12 years of age.
Uses:
- Hypertension
This medicine is used to reduce high blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow smoothly in the blood vessels.
- Congestive Heart Failure
Minipress XL 2.5 mg Tablet XL is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure for relieving the symptoms of congestion.
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia
This medicine is used the in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia for relaxing the smooth muscles.
