Description:
It is a tablet used to counter the allergic symptoms caused due to a chemical called histamine. Montewok Lc tablet is a combination of an antihistamine and leukotriene receptor antagonist. It is a medication used in treating allergic symptoms like itching, running nose, watery eyes and sneezing. The tablet reduces the amount or completely blocks the chemical histamine and thus helping in decreasing the allergic effects. It minimises the effects but does not cure it. It is advisable that you follow the dosage mentioned by the doctor. Children below 6 years of age can experience side effects like diarrhoea, vomiting and constipation. Children aged 6-12 years can experience cough, fever, sleepiness or bleeding from nose in some cases. Children above 12 and adults may experience side effects like sore throat, dry mouth, tiredness or inflammation of nose and throat.
You must be careful in the initial stages of medication as it can cause drowsiness and it is advisable you do not drink or drive during this period. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must avoid it. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients used in the tablet, then you must not consume it either.
