Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of conditions such as Lyme disease; infections of the ears, lungs, urinary tract, etc. caused by bacteria. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of kidney diseases.
Uses:
- Pharyngitis/Tonsilitis
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of Tonsilitis/Pharyngitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.
- Acute Bacterial Otitis Media
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of Otitis Media, which is an inflammation of the middle ear, caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
- Sinusitis
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of sinusitis, a condition in which the cavities around nasal passages become inflamed and swollen, caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.
- Bronchitis
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of bronchitis, an inflammation of the inner lining of the bronchial tubes, caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus Influenzae, and some Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
- Skin and Structure Infection
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of Skin and Structure infection like cellulitis, wound infection, and cutaneous abscess caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.
- Cystitis
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of cystitis which is a bladder infection caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
- Pyelonephritis
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of Pyelonephritis which is a type of kidney infection caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
- Lyme disease
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of Lyme disease which is a bacterial infection caused by Borrelia burgdorferi.
- Gonococcal Infection
Cefakind 250 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of gonococcal infection which is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
