Ciplox 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops is an antibiotic that is used to treat a variety of eye and ear infections such as conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, swimmer's ears, etc. caused by certain types of bacteria. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 1 year of age.
Uses:
- Bacterial Conjunctivitis
This medicine is used in the treatment of conjunctivitis, which is an inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva, caused by bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus epidermis, etc.
- Corneal Ulcers
This medicine is used in the treatment of corneal ulcer, which is an infection or inflammatory condition of the cornea, caused by bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc.
- Otitis Externa
This medicine is used in the treatment of otitis externa, which is an infection of the external ear canal, caused by bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.
