Description:
Dalacin C 300 mg Capsule is a bacteriostatic antibiotic which is used to treat a variety of infections of the lungs, skin, blood, etc. caused by susceptible bacteria. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with gastrointestinal diseases due to the increased risk of severe diarrhea.
Uses:
· Lower Respiratory Tract Infection
This medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the lower respiratory tract such as bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. caused by susceptible staphylococcal, pneumococcal, and streptococcal species as well as anaerobic bacteria.
· Skin and Skin Structure Infection
This medicine is used in the treatment of skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible staphylococcal and streptococcal species as well as anaerobic bacteria.
· Intra-abdominal Infections
This medicine is used in the treatment of intra-abdominal infections such as peritonitis, intra-abdominal abscess, etc. caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria.
· Gynecological infections
This medicine is used in the treatment of gynecological infections such as vulvitis, vaginitis, endometritis, etc. caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria.
· Bone and Joint infections
This medicine is used as an adjunctive therapy along with surgical procedures for the treatment of chronic bone and joint infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
