Dutas 0.5 mg Capsule is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (prostate enlargement). This medicine should be used only by men. Women and children are advised not to handle this medicine since there is a chance of absorption through the skin.

Dutas 0.5 mg Capsule is used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia which is a condition in men where the prostate gland is enlarged and the patients have difficulty passing urine.
