Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is an anticonvulsant and is considered to be the first-line of treatment for neurotic pain, shingles, seizures and fibromyalgia. It is used for the treatment of diabetic nerve pain, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, restless leg syndrome and generalised anxietydisorder. It works by binding to a certain region of the brain and reducing the pain signals sent out by the damaged nerves of the body.
Some common side effects of Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet include sleepiness, trouble with memory, confusion, poor motor coordination, problem with vision, dry mouth and weight gain. More serious side effects may include drug misuse, angioedema, and an increased risk of suicide. Prolonged use of this medicine can cause addiction.
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is not recommended for you if you are pregnant, or have an allergic reaction towards any of its ingredients. Some medicines interact with Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following:
- Angiotensin- converting enzyme inhibitors
- Benzodiazepines or narcotic pain medicines
- Thiazolidinedione antidiabetic agents
Ensure your doctor is informed if you have any of the following medical conditions before starting the medication:
- If you have congestive heart failure, irregular heartbeat, diabetes, bleedingproblems, muscle problems, highballed pressure or low platelet count.
- If you have improper kidney functioning or are on dialysis.
- If you have a history of angioedema.
- If you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- If you take any other medicines, dietary supplements or herbal preparations.
- If you have mental or mood problems, suicidal thoughts, or are dealing with depression.
The initial dose for Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is usually 50 mg, taken orally 3 times a day. the dosage can later be increased depending on efficacy and tolerability.

- Postherpetic Neuralgia
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is used for the relief of nerve pain caused due to herpes virus infection, known as shingles.
- Epilepsy
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is used along with other medicines to treat partial-onset seizures, which is a common type of seizure, in patients suffering from epilepsy.
- Fibromyalgia
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of a condition where the patient experiences severe pain of muscles and joints, extreme tiredness, inability to sleep.
- Neuropathic pain
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is also used for the treatment of pain caused due to damaged nerves. The damage can be caused do to a spinal chord injury, trauma, or other degenerative diseases.
- Generalized anxiety disorder
Neurokem Nt 75Mg Tablet is also used to relieve general episodes of anxiety in adults.
